This small vase was inspired by walking the Cape to Cape trail in Western Australia during wildflower season. It features the pendulous flowers of Thomasia.
The vase is built in smooth white clay, painted with slips and underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. The exterior is glazed on the plant only, with a matte clay background. The inside is clear glazed.
