This cup features Soap Mallee (Eucalyptus diversifolia) from south-western Victoria.
The cup is built in white clay, painted with indigo underglaze, and carved to create the surface design. It is clear glazed on the inside. The outside is unglazed, with a slight sheen to the indigo underglaze and a matte clay background.
