Each of my bowls is unique. Featuring my favourite plants, they are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
This bowl features Broad-Leaved Paperbark from Hinchinbrook Island in Northern Queensland.
It is built in warm clay, painted with white slip and oxides, and deeply carved to create the botanical design. The outside has a matte glaze on the plant, while the textured clay background is unglazed and matte. The inside is clear glazed.
