This small vase features Boobiala, also known as Native Juniper (Myoporum insulare) from the Great South West Walk in Victoria.
It is built in smooth white clay, painted with indigo underglaze, and carved to create the surface design. It is clear glazed on the inside. The outside is unglazed, with a slight sheen to the indigo underglaze and a matte clay background.
