This large vase was created during my residency at BigCi Australia. It features the Mountain Devil (Lambertia formosa) from Wollemi National Park.
The vase is built in white grainy clay, painted with slip, and carved to create the botanical design. The exterior is unglazed and matte. The inside is clear glazed.
