This small bowl features Leatherwood (Eucryphia lucida) from Tasmania.
It is built in white clay, painted with slips and oxides and carved to create the surface design. On the outside, the satin-matte glaze gives a misty, dreamy quality to the design. The inside has a clear gloss glaze.
