This large vase was created during my residency at BigCi Australia. It features Laurel-Leaf Grevillea (Grevillea laurifolia) from Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area.
The vase is built in smooth white clay, painted with slip, and carved to create the botanical design. The exterior is unglazed, with a velvety matte quality. The inside is clear glazed.
