This small vase was inspired by walking the Cape to Cape trail in Western Australia during wildflower season. It features Granite Bottlebrush (Calothamnus graniticus).
The vase is built in smooth white clay, painted with underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. The exterior is glazed on the plant only, with a matte clay background. The inside is clear glazed.
