This vase was inspired by walking the Cape to Cape trail in Western Australia during wildflower season. It features the vibrant leaves and green-and-white flowers of False Boronia (Phyllanthus calcinus).
The vase is built in smooth white clay, painted with slips and underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. The exterior is unglazed, with a slight sheen to the plant and a matte background. The inside is clear glazed.
