Each of my bowls is unique. Featuring my favourite plants, they are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although hand-washing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
This small bowl features a wide-leaved acacia with long flowers, which I saw on the Jatbula Trail in the Northern Territory.
It is wheel-thrown in white clay and altered to form a graceful, slightly oval shape. It is painted with slips and oxides and carved to create the surface design. The satin-matte glaze gives a misty, dreamy quality to the design.
Dimensions: H 5 x W 14 x D 13 cm.
